a roundabout way(遠回り)

When I took a shortcut,everything looked like shining.
It was entirely easy way to walk.
Then I realize that I can not go on taking a shortcut anymore.
And I also know that nothing is entirely shining.
Everything has darkness.

If someone asks me,
Do you regret to know a roundabout way?
I am sure to answer No! I don't.
Because of a roundabout way, we come to know as things are.
My life become more valuable one.
